Dreampool sighed softly. I suppose i'd better go meet Silverpaw... Slipping through the dark trees, illuminated by the first shafts of sunlight, she shivered and padded silently back into camp. Seeing her apprnetice form outside the den, she called out softly to her, came up to the shelves inside of her den, searching the herbs. "Mmhmm....urgg...mrhhmmm....." she mumbled, then finalyl turned to the younger cat. "Come here" she mewed, her voice lower than a whisper. "I will intorduce you to the basic herbs...the ones you will use most." Looking lovingly at the plants that helped save lifes, she smiled slightly, a rare occurance. "Now these..." she mewed, looking at the assembled wad of sticky gray webs. "Are cobwebs. They are used to stop the bleeding. Just dab them on the wound, and if it's serious, leave it there for a while. You'll need to put them on a stci kbefore you use it, unless you don't have much time, in which case just grab them in your mouth and drop." She turned to another shelf. "And these...these are poppy seeds." She motioned at the small yellowish seeds that lay in a pile in the back of a low rock shelf. "You use them to numb the pain, or also to put a cat to sleep, which has somewhat of the same effect. Just let your patient lick up a pawful of them and the effect is almost instantanious. The more you give them, the sleepier they'll get. Now, you may have before heard of mouse bile. It is used to remove ticks from the elder's pelts. Now, don't think that just because you are a medicine cat apprentice I will hesitate to give you the task of taking care of them. In fact, you will probably end up with the job more than the others, as you'll know how to do it better than most." Dreampool paused at looked at her apprnetice to see how the oyung cat was abosorbing all this information.

Silverpaw followed Dreampool to the herbs. Loving scents of the herbs carried through her nose. As she stood near the medicine cat she saw the herbs the where layed on their selves There's so many !? She said silently to her self. She listened carefully to ever word her mentor said. When she was done Silverpaw mouthed the name of each thing. Cob webs, Poppy seeds, and Mouse bile "Cob webs, poppy seeds and mouse bile. Cob webs, poppy seeds and mouse bile..." The thought of chores did not please the young cat, but she would if she was told to.

Dreampool sighed. "That's all I will tell you for now. Right now we are going to go out in and search for herbs. Now, yarrow is a herb that makes cats through up. You would use it if they've eaten something you don't want in there, such as deathberries or some other toxic thing. The smell is very bitter, and the herb is yellow. I wanna you to look for it, okay? Tell me if you think you've found some, but do not did it up just yet, okay?
ooc:I'll make a thread ^^

The thought of searching for herbs made the young apprentice both excited and nervous. What if I can't find it. What will Dreampool think when I can't even find the herbs. Silverpaw thought No I have to be confident, I can find them. Silverpaw followed her mentor out repeating what she told her about yarrow. "Yarrow bitter and yellow."
OCC: ok i'll be there
